WINE AND CHEESE NIGHT
The hall committee hosted an evening at the hall on Saturday 28th February for all our fantastic volunteers.
The purpose of the evening was to thank them with more than words and to show how much the committee appreciates the support and effort our volunteers give.
There was a lovely spread of cheese, fruit platters and nibbles to complement the wine and beer.
All the volunteers were presented with a quality polo shirt monogramed with the hall's logo. Our President, Craig Coleman was very entertaining as he introduced everyone by name and asked them to come up to receive their gift.
Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed themselves and we are all looking forward to the next one.
The committee plan to host more of these evenings throughout the year as a way to give back to those who give so much to the hall.
Our volunteers assist in many ways. Helping at Bunnings sausage sizzles or family fun days and other special events, helping at working bees. Weeding the gardens at the hall. Mowing - We really need a couple of people to help us there.
Whether you have a lot of time or only a little, any time you can spare will be a help.
If you would like to become involved and join our band of happy helpers please contact either Laura or Craig to express your interest.

WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP!
The volunteers who have been keeping our grass mown and looking great for a number of years are no longer able to do it.
So, we are asking for new volunteers to help.
It takes less than 1 hour to mow our section of grass at the hall.
The more people who can help, the better we can share the number of times you get to have the fun of running around on your ride on.
All you need is a ride on mower and a trailer to get it there.
We can reimburse for cost of fuel.
WHAT WE NEED IS YOU AND YOUR MOWER!!
Please help us to keep the hall looking good for everyone to enjoy.
Contact Laura Johns, Secretary on 0438 277 774 or send us an email or contact us through our Facebook page to let us know you can help.
THANK YOU

The group met at Laura's garden on Sunday 1st March and it was looking refreshed after the recent rain. Laura has a bush garden with shrubs and garden beds in amongst mature native trees. Not too many traditional flowers, but there is a peacefulness to it and it attracts many birds and other native wildlife.
All gardens are different in style and change with the seasons. It depends on the owner's preferences. That's what makes it interesting visiting different gardens each month.
Next meeting will be Sunday 29th March at 9am at Penny's place.
If you would like to join the group please bring a chair, a plate of food to share and a plant or some produce from your own garden to swap. It is a relaxed morning and we would love to see you.
