Get involved in some of the things we do for the Curra Community and keep the hall in good order for the community’s use.
Help at Special Events
When we have large events like the Poet’s Breakfast, Christmas Party, a family fun day, a Movie Night or an Art Festival, additional help is always needed. The jobs vary depending on the event. Set up, clean up, help with a sausage sizzle, wait tables, sell raffle tickets etc.
Mowing at the Hall
The Management Committee is responsible for maintaining the lawns and gardens around the hall. It is important that the hall looks welcoming and well cared for to everyone who sees it. We need additional volunteers to assist on a mowing roster to keep the grass down. It only takes about 45 minutes to run around on your ride-on and the more people on the roster, the number of times you need to mow is reduced.
Some of the people who used to help are no longer available, so we really need a couple of extras.
